Nithya Arunkumar

QTC Scientist

Ph.D. Physics (Experimental Quantum Optics/AMO), NC State University, 2018
M.S. Physics (Optics), University of Massachusetts Lowell, 2010
B.S. Physics, Madras University, 2006

Nithya’s research focuses on NMR spectroscopy using NV centers, optical control of scattering interactions in ultracold atoms, and electromagneticcally induced transparency (EIT)

Fun Fact: Nithya cooks specifically Indian food and loves to play tennis. She also has an adorable puppy named Munchkin who she loves to play with!
