Xiechen (Chen) Zheng

Postdoctoral Fellow

Ph.D. Electrical Engineering, University of Maryland, College Park, 2026
B.S. Electrical Engineering, University of Maryland, College Park, 2018

Chen’s research focuses on all-optical NV magnetometry for extreme environments and explores techniques to improve sensing performance. In addition, he is interested in enhancing the functionality of NV magnetometer through engineering a more portable NV sensing unit.

Fun Fact: Xiechen loves travel and photography! Before COVID-19, he traveled to Taiwan!
